Ire and vinegar.

May 26, 2009

My brain has felt like a desert oasis lately.
Alone, dry, useless.

A hopeful beacon in the dark, and upon arrival a distinguished disappointment.

Have you ever heard of adobo powder?
you coat that and olive oil on vegetables.
Peppers, zucchini, asparagus.
And then you grill them (but not to long, you noticed)-
they’ll get soggy (if you do.

So you coat the vegetables with the adobo and the olive oil and you grill them and then you sprinkle them with red wine vinegar- you don’t soak anything.

I’ll put them on the grill for a while with the adobo and the oil and make them soft and rest them for a little while in red wine and vinegar with some roasted garlic butter.
